Chris Steinborn – Pitching Coordinator

Steinborn brings to the staff seven years of professional pitching experience and fourteen years of private and small group instruction experience.  Chris most recently coached the 17u Mashfactory team and has been a coach and Pitching Coordinator in the organization since its inception.  Prior to this he managed the Stark County Terriers Collegiate summer team in 2013 and 2014.  Drafted in 2002 he played professionally for 7 seasons with the Detroit Tigers, Colorado Rockies, San Diego Padres before finishing in the Atlantic League.  Chris trains in all aspects of pitching from weight training, flexibility, plyometrics, agility, core strength, mobility, mechanics, mental preparation and toughness, pitch selection and improvement, grips, throwing programs and velocity programs.
